Reviews and Ratings
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Sydney! The view from the room overlooking the ferry terminal was always changing with each new liner docking. The proximity to the hop on hop off stops right outside the front door was so convenient. Plus, the view from the roof of the opera house and bridge was stunning. The location is perfect too, just a 5-minute walk to the harbor for amazing photo opportunities and only a 10-minute walk to Clarke Quay with plenty of dining options. Overall, if I ever return to Sydney, this would be my top choice. The only downside was the room above a dumpster from the restaurant next door.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, great for being close to the ferry for a zoo trip. The rooms old with knee problems were addressed promptly, and they were comfortable with all necessary amenities. The service was friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond when I left something in the taxi. The location was brilliant, just a short stroll to Circular Quay Pier and fantastic eateries. Dining was exceptional with a wide selection, though a bit slow on table resets. The facilities were convenient and well-maintained.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were not quite up to standard, as the first room had very loud air conditioning. The hotel is serviced by mid-afternoon when the cruise ships were not in port, but I felt it was certainly not worth the tariff charged.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great views and spacious rooms, but with overpriced and old accommodations. The service went above and beyond, making my 10-year-old's birthday special. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions but had noise disturbances. The dining experience offered healthy options but could have been better for the price.
The hotel offers fantastic views of the Opera House and CBD from the clean and comfortable rooms. While it could benefit from a refurbishment, the cleaning products in the room were a nice touch. The service was outstanding, especially with staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The location is in the heart of the lively Rocks area, making it convenient to explore the city. The dining experience was a bit ordinary for the price, but the hotel facilities were decent.
My stay at the hotel was mostly enjoyable. The room was clean, but not as nice as expected. The bonus was the lovely view of the Opera House outside the window, although the restaurant experience was affected by ongoing renovations. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights and drawbacks.
The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms, exceptional service, and a superb location for exploring Sydney. However, dining could be improved with more variety, and prices may be considered high by some.
The hotel may give off a low-budget vibe with small, 1980s-style rooms, but it overlooks the ferry terminal offering a changing view each day. The location is ideal, just steps away from the Sydney CBD and right by the Overseas Passenger Terminal for cruise-goers. The service was mostly helpful, albeit with a need to fine-tune humor. The dining experience had a decent variety, reminding us of a cruise ship spread.
Although the Harbour View was lacking in our room, which was a tad outdated, it was still nice with a good TV and air conditioning. We did notice some mold at the edge of the sink. On the bright side, the hotel's location is perfect for sightseeing, offering easy access to spots like the Circular Quay. The dining options had a great variety, but the setting felt a bit exposed in the lobby. Overall, a convenient stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms felt old and in need of renovation, they were spacious, clean, and offered a comfortable stay. The service was commendable, with friendly and helpful staff, but some amenities were basic. The location was fantastic for our needs, though there were minor inconveniences like the lack of cups for the water dispenser. The dining options were a bit hit or miss, with limited selections and chaotic service. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel offers a decent experience overall, with service shining particularly during breakfast. The rooms could use a renovation for an upgrade, and there was a day without servicing. The location is top-notch with stunning views of the Harbour and convenient access to major attractions and dining options.
The hotel offers a great location for cruisers, within walking distance of the main terminal and close to fantastic venues, but the rooms may not match expectations in size and noise levels at night.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a bit tired, especially the bathroom, but they were satisfactory overall. The service was friendly and helpful, although there were some issues with the new management. The location was perfect, with a lovely view and easy access to bars and restaurants. The dining experience was of a high standard, and the facilities met my needs.
The hotel room was very comfortable with both firm and soft pillows to choose from, but the rooms were very small for having two double beds. The price seemed a bit high for an outdated room, but the staff struck me as very helpful and friendly.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were very nice and spacious with many windows offering a good view, although a bit dated at times. The service was efficient, friendly, and extremely helpful. The location was excellent, right in the historic Rocks area and close to many attractions. The dining experience was fantastic with lots of choices. Overall, a fabulous hotel with some minor room condition concerns.
